  Activities and Societies: Tutoring, Greenergy, WeStudy, ChemX My admission to the University of Benin was unprecedented as I became the first in my family to attend a university. The first two years wasn't easy but I managed to stay afloat maintaining my first class grades. The first two years wasn't easy but I managed to stay afloat maintaining my first class grades. I made friends, engaged in sensitization programs, signed up for various competitions such as the national metro spelling bee and the greenergy project, won the NDDC/SEPLAT scholarship, interned in a water treatment plant, etc. My final year design project was on the simulation of DME synthesis from natural gas using HYSYS while my research project was on the beneficiation of local drilling mud using sodium carbonate and cassava starch and I wrote a paper on this research that was published in January 2022.In the end, I emerged as the second best graduating student in my class with a CGPA of 4.81/5.0. My time at the University of Benin as a student was truly rewarding and has prepared me for promising future. Show less
