Managed the administrative tasks of a 50-Million-peso 2-year collaborative project between the National Institutes of Health-UP Manila and the University of California San Francisco funded by the PCARI-CHED2. Brought the project to completion of around 80% in two years’ time 3. Facilitated fund transfers from funding agency to national implementing Higher Educational Institution and International Collaborator4. Coordinated with the relevant national agencies, laboratories and offices during the implementation of the project (Philippine General Hospital, Microarray Core Laboratory, IRRI, Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Quarantine, CHED, Bureau of Treasury, University of the Philippines, University of California San Francisco)5. Managed the daily operations of the project including, but not limited to, patient recruitment, supplies inventory, samples delivery, liaising with consultants and collaborators6. Assisted in the adjustment of the Project Line-Item Budget and prepared the realignment and reprogramming of the project funds in order to accommodate project changes7. Arranged the successful travel of project leaders and collaborators which includes, cash advances, flights, accommodations and liquidations thereafter8. Prepared financial reports for operations tracking of funds and audit purposes9. Organized staff meetings, international conference calls, monitoring and evaluation events and prepared the files and presentations needed per event10. Coordinated with national agencies responsible for the procurement of the needed equipment in the study11.
