  Plans, organizes and coordinates the application support activities for two or more software applications. Is responsible for implementation of assigned new applications and ongoing system enhancements. Assist others in the implementation of applications and ongoing system maintenance and enhancements. Consults with and assists users in making the most effective use of computer applications. Performs tasks associated with Information Systems projects related to the analysis of user needs, system design, installation and enhancements to existing systems. Monitors assigned application to assure that systems are functioning properly andtake appropriate corrective action when system problems are detected. Conducts test runs, evaluates results, consults with users, and refines or revises programs and system to conform to requirements. Prepare status reports that quantitatively and qualitatively inform of project progress and results. Recommends software solutions, including both commercial software packages and in-house developed applications. Assists in developing project cost and benefit estimates toestablish project worth, including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or systems changes. Assist with user training, to assure effective use of in-house and commercial software packages. Supports users requiring linkagebetween computers and mainframe systems, including system interfaces, downloading and uploading. Assist in developing departmental policies and standards related to use of systems and software. Work with Web Programmers, Application Analyst, and Vendors to Maintain Data integrity and the most efficient means of accessing Patient data to facilitate effective patient care. Identify and resolve software conflicts and problems to maintain access to the Physician Connect Web Portal. Work independently to schedule and provide technical support for all Physicians and staff accessing patient data via the Physician Connect Web Portal. Attend weekly meeting with the Information Systems CIO, Director of IS Customer Support, Director of Applications, and the Director of Technical Support to discuss issues, formulate solutions, and devise a proactive plan for progression. Maintain Patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Phoebe Policy. Verify that documentation of actions taken to resolve issues are maintained in the Service Desk Express Database. Promote and demonstrate attitude of teamwork, caring and effective communication, and rapport with coworkers, outside Physicians and staff, and maintain a customer oriented focus.
