My main responsibility has been in the Social and Networking Role, organising events for our members to gather, trade and socialise. I am currently participating in a Promotion and Marketing role.   A community space for people to involve themselves locally. Took it on as a simple set of shelves for sharing garden produce.Now I coordinate a team of about 12 volunteers and we provide the space for locals to share food, books, children's toys and books, jars and plants."Give what you can. Take what you can use." is our motto.We also run community events like our Community Picnic and BBQs, painting workshops and Free Plants Day.

  I picked up a paintbrush in 2017. The first time since leaving school. I felt a rush of joy when applying paint with a splash of colour. It has not left me. My creativity is at the core of my life now.Since then I have explored acrylic and watercolours, combining them and paper too.I am inspired by my life and my surroundings, my garden and relationships. I notice the lines, designs and color around me.Love the canvas work and also have a long term passion for gardening, which is another creative expression for me. Show less
