  Supplier Quality Engineer

  Supplier Quality Engineer in both the Bedhampton, Hampshire site and the Titchfield, Hampshire site. Both were part of the Aerospace division. I was heavily involved in the UK/Mexico product transfer and worked in Tijuana for 12 weeks and reported directly to the Operation Excellence Manager for the Aerospace division whilst out there. I was training the quality department in Tijuana to understand and to conform to our customer requirements as well as the Eaton quality requirements. I have also been involved in the product transfer of 2 UK plants parts to China as well as re-sourcing a large number of parts out there. Working with multiple suppliers and carrying out quality and process audits to ensure they are compliant to all our specifications. Whilst in China I trained our Supplier Development Engineer in China on Eaton’s Quality Systems Audit and the Business assessment audit. I have a strong connection with my supply base and have worked very closely with them on site to resolve quality and engineering issues and ensure continuity of supply.
