    • ERIC WRIGHT CONSTRUCTION LIMITED

      Nov 2011 - May 2012
      Labourer/Demolition/Banks Person

I worked on numerous contracts with Eric Wright. Firstly I was working on the new Furness College build. I was then taken onfor another role after it was built in the demolition of the old building, dismantling all internal structure in a safe manner. Thiswas a high risk job, so Health and Safety at all times was pinnacle of priorities. I then went on to being a Banksmen, ensuringthe smooth flow of the gates to stop any congestion within the site, ensuring all personnel entering site were authorized. Show less

      Nov 2012 - Sept 2013
      Carpet Fitter

Roles varied from fitting to sales. Whilst fitting I worked alongside another tradesperson who taught me during myapprenticeship until I was competent to work alone. Providing a service of high quality was a high priority for us to keep aregular, happy customer base. In this role I learnt the true meaning of effective teamwork as it was a very demanding job for twopeople, without effective communication and respect we wouldn’t have succeeded.
