      Software Engineer Intern

      Created a social network simulation based on real world data based in multiple cities. Simulation data is used to find indicators of insider threats through analysis on every person's characteristics, connections, communications, and actions throughout the simulation. This experience gave way to exposures in skills of data analysis, insider threat detection, and forms of machine learning. It also showed me a full-time work environment by enhancing my skills of teamwork, time management, and communication. These skills were developed through the agile software development process that includes stand-ups, weekly sprint plans, and even being a scrum master for a little. Overall, this internship enhanced and exposed me to skills in the fields of cyber security, data science, and software engineering while further developing soft skills as well. Show less
