  I gained 20 years of experience before Mark Water Pumps Limited bought the Quinton Hazell factory. I progressed from a standards room inspector to becoming the plant manager.I held many roles throughout my time at Quinton Hazell including managing staff, helping with design, development & testing of the pumps & pump assembly products.As the plant manager, my role was to supervise the assembly of automotive water pumps, pump assembly parts, as well as the H&S of the factory. I maintained a productive workforce & ensured each of the pumps, cooling pumps, water pumps & other parts were designed & tested as the client requested.While working at the automotive water pumps & parts factory, I studied many different courses to help improve my effectiveness as plant manager, including an EEF Effective Manager course.Quinton Hazell Automotive Ltd supplied many automotive water pumps & parts. They had an extensive range of products including pumps, cooling pumps, water pumps, brakes & engine replacement parts.Many of these products remain the same as Mark Water Pumps Limited have kept much of the same staff & equipment to ensure that existing customers have products that maintain high quality standards.Many of the customers who used Quinton Hazell’s services have continued to do business with Mark Water Pumps Limited, as they still receive the quality service they are used to, as well as an expanding portfolio as we improve & design new products.It has been easy to transfer to my role as plant manager for Mark Water Pumps Limited as we continue to make the same cooling pumps, water pumps & other automotive products.I am happy for the opportunity to improve my skills as Mark Water Pumps Limited continue to supply many different automotive water pumps, including cooling pumps & water pumps to the European market & existing companies who value our pumps & parts service. Show less Straight after leaving school I was hired by Quinton Hazell. At the time I was learning about the automotive water pumps industry & gaining qualifications as an engineer. I was involved in the production & design of the pumps, cooling pumps, pump assembly & water pumps. I also had to conduct the testing of the products using the dyno rigs.During this time I studied for 2 MSC Modules in Quality Engineering to help me with the production of our various pumps & parts.After a few years I started learning the management skills required for promotion to plant manager of Mark Water Pumps Limited. While making the various pumps, pump assembly & parts at the automotive water pumps company, I was the standards room inspector learning the health & safety procedures involved in the cooling pumps & water pumps production. This was useful as I now utilise these skills as plant manager at Mark Water Pumps Limited.Quinton Hazell had a wide client base in the automotive water pumps industry & produced many pumps & parts for many automotive companies.They made quality cooling pumps, water pumps & other automotive parts, which were advertised through the company website.When Mark Water Pumps Limited bought Quinton Hazell, they retained the existing staff & customers. This ensures that as plant manager I am able to provide a continuous high quality for our customers.As the company specialises in OE & aftermarket applications, we are able to supply customers with new or existing parts. All of the parts are made on-site to the customer’s request ensuring quick, professional products at an affordable price.As plant manager I’m happy that Mark Water Pumps Limited have continued to supply the high quality pumps, pump assembly, cooling pumps, water pumps, automotive water pumps & parts that were produced by Quinton Hazell.
