      Prepared, received and administered grants that allowed Girls Scouts of the USA to implement contemporary programming and outreach efforts to members, including one of the first LPGA Girls Gold Clubs in the nation, which expanded to multiple sites, exceeding all goals within the first 12 months of program delivery, to become the 2nd largest club in the USA within its' first 12 months, second only to the original club in Arizona. Directed and supervised staff members responsible for recruitment, programming, and membership. Promoted contemporary Girl Scout programming to more than 7,000 girls residing in the Capital Region.       As Grants Program Manager, worked directly with the CFO and key staff to provide strategic grant management support on highly competitive grants including New York State OTDA Solutions to End Homelessness Program (STEHP) and NYS Supportive Housing Program (NYSSHP) with a 100% success rate with grant submissions in 2011. Oversaw all aspects of the grant cycle for over 45 various federal, state, local and private organizations, including but not limited to: NYS DOH, NYS OTDA, NYS OCFS, NYS OASAS, HHS, HUD, City of Albany CDBG, United Way of the Greater Capital Region Community Impact Funds, Albany County DSS, Albany County DCYF, Albany County Mental Health, and various private trusts, charitable organizations, and corporations. Activities included both pre and post-award management activities such as prospecting, research, proposal development, compliance, and strategic planning assignments. I maintained a cohesive database of funding contracts and deadlines and utilized grant management systems and databases such as grants.gov, CMS, and GMS to ensure compliance with various federal, state and local contracts. I worked closely with various internal groups to gather identify needs, develop strategies and plan for funding solutions and acted as an organizational liaison with various groups, including Albany County Coalition to End Homelessness, Albany County Shelter Providers, and Albany County Prevention Providers. Develop and coordinate long-range strategic plans to build strong partnerships; drive volunteer engagement to support community impact; generate grant resources necessary to enhance the organization’s ability to meet its mission of impact; and utilize data to support decisions.I work directly with the COO and other key leadership to provide strategic support on more than 50 funding sources, including NYSED, NYS OPWDD, United Way of the Greater Capital Region, NYS DASNY, and various private trusts, foundations and corporations. These resources help sustain fundraising efforts that support the agency’s $36,000,000 annual operating budget and allow individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independent and meaningful lives. I currently maintain an annual success rate above 90% related to grant submissions through strong strategic planning and development skills and intense collaboration with key program staff and engagement of community partners.Recent submissions and awards include funding to support a $1,300,000 capital project that increased the capacity of a seasonal program that supports over 100 students with disabilities receiving services in the NYSED Summer Extension Program and a multi-year contract award from NYS ACCESS-VR, which will allow for expansion of services provided to more than 200 individuals with disabilities seeking vocational support for from 14 and up.
