  To increase the power capabilities in Bangladesh, Technopromexport was involved in construction of a thermal power plant.The activities included a great variety of actions. Translation of technical documents was followed by negotiations right at the site and sometimes at different elevations of the plant. Hard work was done day by day under the burning sun. My duties at the project also included negotiations with our management at the site office, negotiations and consultations with the local management and authorities.Escorting and picking up specialists at the airport, any kind of support to them in medical institutions were what I also did within the project, etc. Show less

  Technical Translator

  The scope of my responsibilities and the range of activities were wide enough. They included translations of various documents from different disciplines, such as construction, instrumentation, chemistry, welding, contracting, commissioning, etc. I also participated in various joint meetings at the site during discussions within working groups and at the management level, and also when delegations from different countries arrived to get familiarized with the unique design of the nuclear power plant. I was also proud to participate in the follow-up peer review activities with the WANO delegation at the site. These activities included close interaction with the division managers and the NPP operating personnel. Show less

  As a technical translator my responsibility was to provide high quality written translations and adequate interpretations during meetings, presentations, when implementing a huge gas project. Mainly I performed these tasks when providing:- translation of technical documentation, specifications, letters, drawings, calculation documents, procedures, instructions, operating manuals, minutes of meetings, bidding documents, contracts. - provision of interpretations during meetings at the Petrofac office, at the Customer office, at the site. As well as participation in factory acceptance tests of different equipment to be delivered to the site. Show less

  We design nuclear power plants around the globe. Our current projects are in progress in Hungary, Finland, Egypt and China. The unique thing is that the most advanced technologies and the best available solutions are applicable to our projects. My main professional activities include the translation of a great number of documents and interpretations during numerous meetings covering various current international projects of NPP construction. The translations cover not only the nuclear reaction process, but also many specific technical issues that are also applicable to other technical fields, such as safety, natural science, general power engineering, thermal power engineering, oil and gas, construction, general technical terminology, HVAC, welding, I&C, chemistry, electrical engineering, telecommunication, etc.The interpretation process is the front side of what we do on a daily basis.Knowledge, skills and experience form the concrete foundation and new possibilities to expand our abilities and to make the things better day after day.
