As PMP Mentor, I help Mentees via Study Group in preparing for their PMP Exam.--- SUCCESS STORY:Recently (Aug 2023), I used Lean Six Sigma Green Belt method to make the program, by:1. Listening to the Voice of Customer, use Kano model2. Mapping out the SIPOC and integrated process flow reduce3. Using the Fishbone and Root Cause Analysis to identify the cause of variations (why people was not confident in applying the exam although they had the trainings and other things).4. Using the 5Rs:4a. Removed some tasks/activities that is low value4b. Reduced topics that are not related to ECO4c. Replaced "manual self-paced reading" with something more fun with small resistance to access. (If you attend, you'll know)4d. Reordered the sequence of discussions, to better match ECO 2021-20234e. Redeploy some time-consuming tasks from Mentee so they can have more time for higher value activities.=========RESULT:=========1. Reduced 80 hours of Study Group (live sessions + offline preparations)2. There were 4 of 10 Mentees of this batch passed the PMP Exam WITHIN 1 MONTH after SG completion, all in their 1st attempt. 😁===DISCLAIMER: PMP Study Group's aim is not to acquire knowledge from scratch, but to prep you to pass the PMP exam on your 1st attempt. SG is not substitute of Training. So you still need to attend the formal training (35 hours) of Project Management to get the most from the SG. Show less
