  I spent 3 months working as a camp counsellor and horse riding instructor for girls aged 7-17. I lived in a cabin with twelve 13-15 year olds and was responsible for their welfare as well as enjoyment; this involved a lot of initiative, creativity, and patience. This experience resulted in increased self-confidence, maturity and ability to stick to a strict schedule.

  When home from university, I work full-time as a bartender at The Three Acres Inn: a reputable and upmarket restaurant in the Yorkshire countryside. As well as providing an excellent standard of service to customers, I also confidently made a range of classic cocktails and a variety of other drinks. I provided customers with knowledge of our ales, lagers and large collection of wines, as well as recommending specific gins to suit personal taste. I was responsible for handing money and working within a strict schedule, whilst observing health and safety guidelines. I pride myself on remaining calm in any situation, whilst still producing the highest quality product and service; this was regularly tested during exceptionally busy shifts and at large functions such as weddings.
