  Ministry of Power, Government of India | Movement of NPAsI did my summer internship at PFC for a period of 3 months as part of my MBA summer internship program. The project involved extensive research to analyse the trend of NPAs over the years. The report so prepared aimed to highlight the cause - effect relationship and suggest appropriate measures to curb the growing NPAs across financial institutions.Report Highlights:• Conducted yearly trend analysis using 3-year moving average method; investigated discrepancies; • compiled financial data to determine asset quality and movement of NPA variable across financial institutions.• Evaluated credit worthiness of financial institutions by studying gross advances and gross NPAs over a period of 12 years; reviewed financial reports to predict NPAs over next 3 years in financial sector.• Studied credit lending framework of major financial institutions for a timeline of 2004-05 to 2015-16; prepared Impact-analysis report; proposed remedial measures and tools for recovery of NPAs.• Awarded 10 credits for presentation and submission of final report.
