For my business plan, I studied and created a personal mission statement, vision statement, executive summary, business description, industry & environmental analysis, and marketing plan. One of my favorite aspects of this project was creating a logo that best represents me as an interior designer. My logo displays a house for residential interior design, a soft green color to represent the emphasis of health and wellness I focus on when designing homes, a chic woman outline to symbolize my love for styling fashionable spaces, and my initials - AJ. Hall of Fame - Fall 2024 Design Thinking Iconic Model Project Interior Designers Institute Sep 2024 I am excited to have received the Hall of Fame recognition for my Iconic Model from IDI’s Design Thinking class! My Iconic Model is designed after Warhol’s Multicolored Retrospective art. Andy Warhol modeled this artwork out of five of his most iconic motifs: the Mona Lisa, Marilyn Monroe, Mao Zedong, Campbell’s Soup, and his Flowers. These five influences highlight the last decade of his life, and they are different from his usual work in the way he combines everything together for what was… Show more I am excited to have received the Hall of Fame recognition for my Iconic Model from IDI’s Design Thinking class! My Iconic Model is designed after Warhol’s Multicolored Retrospective art. Andy Warhol modeled this artwork out of five of his most iconic motifs: the Mona Lisa, Marilyn Monroe, Mao Zedong, Campbell’s Soup, and his Flowers. These five influences highlight the last decade of his life, and they are different from his usual work in the way he combines everything together for what was identified as a post-modern view of “image overload.” This artwork was created in 1979, and it now is estimated to be worth between $3.5 and $4.5 Million. Hall of Fame - Spring 2024 Environmental Design Project Interior Designers Institute Apr 2024 I am honored to be recognized in IDI’s Hall of Fame for my Environmental Design class project! This project was for a conceptual downstairs space consisting of an entryway, living room, dining room, and kitchen. The inspiration behind this residence comes from the serene sites and feelings of the sea breeze at Strands Beach of Dana Point, California. The combination of sustainable materials along with direct and indirect biophilic design elements promotes a sensible environmental design plan… Show more I am honored to be recognized in IDI’s Hall of Fame for my Environmental Design class project! This project was for a conceptual downstairs space consisting of an entryway, living room, dining room, and kitchen. My project started with a paint swatch of Only Oregano by PPG. From there, I created the client profile, location, and design style. I designed a Japandi-style condo located in Henderson, Nevada. Japandi is a design style combining the natural simplicity of Japanese and Scandinavian elements. I successfully delivered the full design concept and presentation of the space in this… Show more I am honored to have been selected for the Hall of Fame for the Fall 2023 term at Interior Designers Institute.
