  My practice specializes in administrative and regulatory law, specifically where the government intersects with private industry. I represent various municipalities, quasi-governmental agencies, and healthcare interests in matters before administrative agencies and regulatory boards. In addition, I advise political and governmental clients on state and federal campaign laws and other regulatory matters. In the healthcare space, my representation has covered every step of the regulatory process. This includes Certificate of Need applications and acquisitions, hearings on adjustments to the State Health Plan, contested case hearings, and testimony before the Statewide Health Coordinating Council, in addition to issues arising out of the Administrative Procedure Act, and its state equivalent, the Alabama Administrative Procedure Act. Furthermore, I have advised clients on federal and state matters pertaining to Medicare and Medicaid. In the campaign finance space I have served as counsel and advisor to a number of candidates and political action committees. My representation has included matters such as compliance, disclosures, and filings on both the state and federal level. Show less
