  Project Title: Weighment assessment and security system (WASS)Existing System :•The incoming vehicles were tagged using a RFID hard tag assigned to each vehicle which was scanned by security guard & if the data matches with database data the vehicle was allowed to enter the premises. Proposal :•The proposed system interacts with the vehicle at multiple points. At each point the system identifies the vehicle with a RFID tag assigned to the vehicle Vehicle's number plate recognition algorithm based on the very elementary technique of Templates matching was used. The algorithm takes an input image of the number plate and after filtering the image, it performs region based operations.•Was demonstrated by using MATLAB, image processing technology used.
