  • Underwent training in the trial Protocol, Manual of Procedures (MOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), clinical procedures, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).• Identify, recruit, enroll, and follow-up MDR TB patients for the trial.• Together with a Trial nurse, performing trial screening, baseline, follow up and unscheduled visits and associated procedures in accordance with the protocol and GCP for appropriate patient management and assessment of adverse events• Prescribing study drugs, ancillary drugs, and antiretroviral agents (if needed) to trial participants.• Performing medical assessments and follow up visits of trial participants in hospital when necessary. • Assisting Trial Nurses with trial procedures, including phlebotomy, ECGs, toxicity screening.• Complete Case Report Forms and other trial documents.• Discuss clinical problems with the Site PI/Clinical Manager/Senior MO, and where necessary with the PI. • Prepare and submit reports to the Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC) and the Pharmacovigilance Unit (PV Unit), where appropriate, after review by the appropriate team leads. • Engage with clinic staff and other members of the team in field to identify medical problems or difficulty with adherence to study drugs.• Attend weekly Care Team meetings; ensure all relevant patient updates and issues are discussed.
