      The Safety Coordinator for a five state area with the responsibility of implementing a safety program for sixteen construction centers and a manufacturing plant. Successfully developed and implemented a positive safety culture by increasing overall safety awareness and providing training for the manufacturing plant and construction crew personnel.       Serve as the Environmental Occupational Safety and Health Project Manager for the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center. The MMAC provides training and logistics services for the Federal Aviation Administration, with over 1100 acres, 125 facilities and over 5000 government and contract personnel, the MMAC is the largest concentration of Department of Transportation employees outside of Washington, D.C. area. Manage numerous safety and health programs which are all critical for a successful occupational safety and health management system. Specific duties include management of confined space, job hazard analysis, fall protection, machine guarding, and hand/power tool safety programs. Effectively conduct workplace safety inspections, hazard/risk assessments, accident/ incident investigations, fire prevention assessments, and OHSAS 18001 audits. • Increased contract and federal employee awareness of confined space hazards through the implementation of an effective confined space program. • Implemented new processes and procedures for the job hazard analysis program in order to address arc flash hazards (NFPA 70E) and updated corresponding OSHA standards. • Increased awareness of fall hazards for a multi-functional campus which successfully accomplished employee buy-in as exhibited by the increased request for fall protection assessments in the last two years from contract and federal employees. • Assisted in the implementation and development of the OHSAS 18001 safety management system.
