      Worked across all five KIPP Colorado schools CEC-12th grade to ensure schools meet regional expectations for students with special needs including student achievement outcomes, compliance, data-driven instruction, enabling systems, and operations. Designed a diagnostic tool to access schools and teams with a scope and sequence for regional services to target gaps and build school capacity. Developed a continuum of services for students with disabilities to ensure academic outcomes for students with special needs were met. Coached Instructional Leaders, School Leaders, and special education teams using RELAY. Collaborated with School Leaders to ensure alignment of regional priorities and school needs. Developed and facilitated regional, school, and team professional development across the region. Serve on the Regional Instructional Leadership Team to identify, implement and evaluate regional priorities. Desegregated regional data, found trends, and determined next steps across all content areas including special education and ELD. As a Regional Instructional Leadership Team, we engaged in monthly school site visits with the KIPP Foundation and RELAY team and provide feedback to school leaders regarding instructional practices and areas for improvement. Supervised the school psychologists and oversaw special education teams, MTSS, G&T, 504 coordinators, and all itinerate service providers.       Provided day-to-day oversight and monitoring of all Adams 12 Five Star School District authorized charter schools to ensure all charter schools administration is implementing with fidelity applicable Adams 12 policies and state and federal educational programming mandates. Ensure all charter schools adhere to district policies, and federal and state laws that apply to each charter school. This includes Special Education, Section 504, English Language Development, Discipline and Attendance, and Gifted Education and assessment and instruction. Led the district and district accountability committee (DAC) through the renewal processes for charter schools, and new charter applications submitted to the district. Responsible for submitting recommendations about charter authorizing to the Superintendent and Board of Education. Make recommendations to charter school administration specific to special populations to improve outcomes for students enrolled at charter schools. Collaborate with school administration and teams to provide guidance and development for targeted professional development. Facilitated charter board training on charter school board responsibilities and oversite related to special populations and legal compliance. Successfully implemented systems and structures with added transparency and communication that led to the improved collaborative relationship between district and charter schools. Show less
