  Editorial Intern

  I conducted and transcribed over 15 interviews with professional surfers and other professionals within the surf industry, as well as had five articles published in print and online. During my internship I also attended multiple editorial meetings and one-on-one editing sessions with the magazine's Editor-in-Chief. I also helped created and run the Surfing Magazine's "Baby Cobras" Online Contest presented by Nike. During this time I worked closely with Nike's advertising and marketing team.

  Successfully completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program through a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, Big Fish Power Yoga, in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Through the program I learned how to sequence and instruct a yoga class, how to properly assist and adjust students into yoga poses, the anatomy of yoga, the history of yoga and the business of yoga.

  I offer weekly group yoga and cross-training classes that suit practitioners of all ages and levels. I also work with clients one-on-one and in small groups for a variety of needs such as: therapeutic applications for injury prevention and rehabilitation, cross-training and recovery for athletes, and mindfulness for mental and emotional well-being. My other offerings include wellness workshops (in-person and online) and local and international surf and yoga retreats.

  As an ambassador for Manduka yoga, I create and share content on my own social media platforms to engage customers and promote Manduka yoga. I also use, share, and promote my Manduka yoga gear in real life in my classes and teachings. I also have an ambassador discount code that I share with my students, clients, and online followers to help drive sales for Manduka yoga.
