  I’ve worked with Burns & McDonnell for 26 years and, in that time, have had an opportunity to be involved in numerous design projects that have given me experience in everything from metal finishing and electroplating, to lubricant blending facilities, to wastewater treatment plants and chemical storage facilities. Although my background is in chemical engineering, my wide range of work experience has allowed me to build my skills in areas like ventilation and fire protection design, especially as they’re related to hazardous material storage and use facilities. I’ve also had an opportunity to be involved in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals and commissioning plans for industrial wastewater treatment facilities and metal finishing facilities, projects that have given me greater insight into these types of facilities and their processes. In addition to being a professionally licensed engineer in four states, I’ve been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2009. I’ve also earned the designation of Certified Electroplater-Finisher by the American Electroplators and Surface Finishers Society for my knowledge of metal finishing and industrial wastewater treatment.
