Started the Truckload/Distributor program for powertrain and auto body parts.Helped develop and facilitate GM/AC Delco training for the aftermarket Mechanical and Auto Body shops. (First of this type of program nation wide for General Motors Parts)Work directly on the mergers/acquisitions of 3 other dealerships: Fry's Pontiac, Red Rose Buick and Faulkner Suzuki. I was the mediator and key communicator for the transition and sale of the old real estate land and buildings. Sorting thru the written documents and the verbal agreements and understandings. While difficult at times, I believe we reach terms beneficial to the parties involved. I continued to serve as a board member at the new location until I completed my term limit.

I have taken a part time, foot in the door position in Retail/Commercial counter sales. I enjoy the automotive parts business, customer interaction and service. I also like Advance Auto Parts business model and value they place on their employees. Employee training and the auto parts availability are geared toward customer satisfaction. The position has also let me reconnect with many of my former contacts from my time at the Jones Dealerships.
