My supervisors while working here were David Meinke who was Marathon High Schools IT Technician and I also worked alongside with Sharon Helms the computer lab Director; under her my duties were issuing updates and maintenance to the computers in the lab. Under Mr. Meinke my duties included the following:• Repairing computers in the classrooms and the three computer labs, included were keyboards, the computer’s hardware, the system or general updates required• Added new software and updates to the laptops and desktops the school was issued• Wiping computers of their operating systems and replacing it• Adding Microsoft Office to computers and laptops that either lost the installation, were new or had been wiped• Installation of printers along with maintenance such as changing ink, repair, order placement and installation• Remote controlling laptops when teachers reported issues as to no disturb their class. I managed her computers and filing to help get her office in order. I paid her bills by writing checks, then mailed them out. I kept her online data up to date with what current listings she had, what sold and what was pending. Updating this information required requesting recommendations from those she had worked with on the sales. I would also manage her phone with trying to get her contacts in order as she had issues with them duplicating. Scanning documents and placing them in folder on the computers and taking files on the computers not in folders and putting them in the correct places. Updating files so they could be read without missing parts. Responding to emails and managing emails. I set up a Homegroup network so she could access files on one computer to another.
