The project included examining the structural loading, attachments, detailed sizing and systems packaging of a Hydrogen-powered civil aircraft aft-fuselage section. With an aim of reduce the turn-around time to less than 45 minutes. My responsibilities included: analyzing symmetric loading cases conforming to CS-25 regulations, producing detailed CAD models of the structural layout on CATIA V5, determining load distribution and stress range across structure, validating design results using FEA on Patran and producing technical reports of the project.Individual Research Project: Developed a design roadmap for Multi-Material Additive Manufacturing for critical aircraft components to enhance sustainability, improve functional performance, light weighting and lead time reduction by employing Multi-Criteria Design Analysis (MCDA).
