      As a clinical veterinarian in the Department of Surgery at the University of Chicago I worked primarily in the large animal surgical clinic area with secondary responsibilities to the non-human primate section and the IACUC. I worked with a large variety of species including zebrafish, macaques, poison dart frogs, rabbits, marmosets, and others. One of my main responsibilities was the set up of medical training labs in conjunction with the medical school utilizing pigs. I also provided surgical support for animal researchers. Show less
