  In this position I worked as a lab technician in the Genomics Core at ASU, gradually taking on more responsibility and developing expertise in next-generation sequencing and sample preparation. I also acquired data analysis, programming, and bioinformatics skills that allowed me to transition to the Bioinformatics core (in the same position) at the end of 2019.

  Bioinformatics Core Manager

  Our core provides bioinformatics support to researchers at ASU and the surrounding community, specializing in NGS analysis such as differential gene expression, metagenomics, genome resequencing, and de novo genome assembly. We are currently building back after our former manager left during the pandemic, and are planning on offering live workshops as well as written and video tutorials.
