  During this part-time summer job, I worked with a group of six year olds for nine weeks of the summer in Central Massachusetts. I learned how to be a leader and role model for these young children.I am now working my second summer as a camp counselor at the same YMCA during COVID-19 phase 3. My responsibilities now also include ensuring that each camper is wearing a mask and maintaining six feet of physical distance from other campers and counselors, as well as making sure the campers are still having fun and learning new aspects of life.
