  I participated in my first virtual online internship experience broadening my knowledge about the marketing industry, engaged in 1:1 networking, learnt about innovative consultancy selling, market analysis and supply chain management. I heard from leading industry experts in sector specialist seminars, highlighting the wide range of roles within the marketing field. I particularly enjoyed the management skills workshop focusing on the importance of collaborative teamwork. I completed the work sample based on rebranding a company in a chosen UK city incorporating the skills learnt on the course, including strategic rationale, SWOT analysis, SMART objectives and creating a marketing budget plan.   As the IU Cambridge Community Champion, I launched and directed the IUx93% Oxbridge social media Collaboration, organised the 2021 IU Team conference and 2022 Kickstart Event, hosted a Website-Editing Work Party and co-ordinated End-of-Term socials. My role enabled me to step into multiple projects and work in close partnership with the IU Outreach Team to liaise with regional education hubs and wider participation support schemes. I co-chaired the 2021 UniReach conference with mentors and school groups and was also the co-editor of InsideUni's Monthly Newsletter. Show less

  SOM Global Winter Shadowship

  The shadowship was an immersive program into the working mechanisms of SOM, offering professional experience, mentorship, and guidance. I shadowed technical and design architects on virtual tours of current and completed SOM projects, learnt about the working mechanisms of project development, city master planning and design competitions. I also engaged in discussion and Q&A forums with professionals on visualisation, sustainability and data driven community design.
