  Worked on mechanical design optimization of PET gantry which was an NPI project. The objective of optimizations included exploring various manufacturing processes to reduce weight, cost and time of manufacturing, Design of Gantry based on the manufacturing processes applying suitable DFM techniques using CREO 4, Structural analysis using ANSYS Workbench 19.2. The topology of the design was optimized using the topology optimization tools in the ANSYS.A bolted joint analysis was carried out to validate the bolted joints. Also, I worked on an installation-based project to provide alternate anchoring locations for the gantry base, and PET table elevation and transportation mechanism, Bolted join analysis of stationary base.   I specialize in Automotive driveline components, specifically Constant Velocity Joints (CVJ), with a primary focus on the simulation of hyper-elastic materials used in CVJ boots. My role involves conducting Non-Linear Finite Element Analyses (FEA) to address stress/strain considerations, lifetime predictions, deformation studies, and lubrication analysis. Additionally, I contribute to the structural analysis of metallic components within the CVJ.Beyond simulation, I play a key role in defining processes and documenting Ways of Working (WoW). As part of Continuous Improvement programs, I actively identify areas for enhancement that positively impact the quality of our deliverables. My responsibilities extend to process automation, where I leverage Python scripting to create plugins for the tools I utilize, as well as develop MS Excel tools using VBA scripts to accelerate work processes and reduce lead times. My commitment to innovation extends to actively participating in AI and ML initiatives, where I contribute to advancing product design and development.Collaborating with engineers globally, I am an integral part of the Global Expert Network (GEN) within GKN Automotive, contributing to knowledge sharing and fostering innovation across the organization.
