      Project Lead (40FTE, 65MCHF, Switzerland):Scope of this investment included clean rooms, isolators, filling equipment, freeze driers and the surrounding infrastructure as water for injection, clean air, multiple utilities and emergency power supply. The project was realized in an existing building without causing any interruption to the ongoing manufacturing activities next door. Some features: the line is designed to fill biopharmaceuticals and chemical compounds at high filling speed. The set-up is very flexible and can be used for liquid products only or to include also the freeze drying step. Use of hydrogen peroxide for sterilization reduces energy consumption; a catalyst ensures a short equipment downtime. Automation level is high enabling “paperless” production. Glass walls allow for a good distribution of day light at day to day operation. Show less
