  After completing my Level 1 ECB Coaching Associations qualification, I volunteer my time to aid in the coaching of young cricketers from the age of 6-15 during the summer. Horton House Cricket Club have provided me with a lot through my cricket career and I enjoy giving something back to the club.

  During my Second year at University, I acted as Secretary of Nottingham Trent University Cricket Club. This involved the organisation of pre-season fixtures, updating the club's social media platforms and liaising with BUCS and the University in order to make sure all fixtures run smoothly and scores are recorded.

  Finance Trainee

  As part of an Industrial Placement Programme, I spent a year working for Specsavers in their Nottingham Support office. I worked in Accounts Payable but specifically in the Euro team which dealt with stores in Netherlands and ROI. - Supplier account reconciliation using Microsoft Excel. - Processing invoices, using Specsavers current system OpenAccounts. - Dealing with non-compliant invoices through liaising with Suppliers. - Constant communication with store managers to deal with any issues. This is done while overcoming the language barriers. - Part of a process improvement team who aim to make processes more efficient in order to save waste time. I also spent time with both Stores Reporting and Financial Reporting teams and experienced the processes they performed when going through month end. Show less
