      Project Chief: Co-authored a report on the “Flood of July 18-20, 1996, in Northeastern Illinois”. Coordinated with federal, state and local agencies to collect hydrologic, hydraulic and climactic data.Performed and analyzed flood simulations on Salt Creek. Ran Full Equations (FEQ) hydraulic model for dynamic wave routing through stream system. Results used to improve the capability of Du Page County to issue flood warnings. Investigated flood mitigation at Elmhurst Quarry Flood Control Reservoir. Co-authored a report on findings. Show less Estimated freshwater flow to the southeast coast of Florida.Collected and analyzed field data to develop discharge ratings for coastal spillways and culverts.Co-authored USGS report, and created public outreach film on findings. Results used to develop a water budget for the South Florida Ecosystem and to construct models simulating water management alternatives for restoring the Everglades.Experienced in using the Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler to measure flows in canals. DESIGNATED FEDERAL OFFICIAL in the determination/evaluation of the Agency's affordability criteria for small, rural drinking water systemsDetermined small system compliance and variance technologies (BATs) for drinking water regulations based on Agency affordability criteria.Provided technical assistance to small drinking water systems on how to implement new drinking water regulations.Represented U.S. EPA at conferences by making presentations and obtaining stakeholder input.       Founder and Executive Director of The Unforgotten, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity that specializes in environmental projects that provide humanitarian relief. From providing aid to wastepickers, to executing WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) projects for those living in extreme poverty, to providing refugees with clean sources of drinking water, The Unforgotten's mission is to provide "enviro-relief".
