      In this position, I work on a number of simultaneous projects at any given time. These projects are needed to support the output of production teams from the MediaCityUK site.I work on smaller projects largely independently, taking on the roles of both project manager and engineer. I co-ordinate with the teams being affected by the project, design the system being installed, assemble cost estimates and projections, complete rigorous change control processes, install the system, and direct contractors while on site.I also work to project managers in ad hoc teams assembled to complete larger projects. One such project involved creating two new radio production spaces, complete with Audio-over-IP live production system which BBC Radio 3 and Radio 6 Music use to broadcast live music performances from Salford.
