  Anthony (Tony) Pagano is a Partner (effective 2/1/23) based in the CohnReznick NY/NJ region. As a key member of the Financial Services Group, he provides financial reporting and audit assurance and advisory to domestic and offshore investment partnerships who employ a variety of investment strategies. Tony's financial instrument exposure includes equities, fixed income, private equity and debt, listed and OTC derivative products, and a heavy focus on structured credit products. He is responsible for coordinating, managing, and performing audit and other assurance services for hedge funds and private equity funds. Tony participates in developing the firm’s best practice initiatives for valuation, implementation of new accounting and audit literature, and other pertinent industry developments. Tony also heads up CohnReznick's "Pricing Desk" and manages a team of 6 individuals with access to four third-party pricing vendors who help value all OTC and exchange traded securities including equities, bonds, derivative instruments and digital currencies. Tony has instructed many in-house professional development seminars and in addition to his “in-house” responsibilities, Tony speaks at various industry seminars on topics such as valuation and recent accounting developments.Tony graduated with honors from Lehigh University while earning a bachelor of science in business and economics with a major in accounting. Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Anthony worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and also has five years of investing and trading experience while working as a professional proprietary equity trader while holding his Series 7, 55, 63, and 24 licenses.
