  I began my career working at BGSU as a lifeguard. I quickly gained numerous instructor certifications from the Red Cross and within months I was promoted to Crew Chief (shift supervisor). From there, I was fortunate enough to work as the Director of Bowling Green Kids Camp in the summer of 2015. After this role I was put in charge of all Health and Safety courses and auditing as well as becoming the Student Supervisor for the Aquatics Department. Researching traffic updates, handling all of social media, and coordinating awareness events were amongst my main responsibilities. Highlights of my time at Safe Communities were working the Safe Community Golf Outing and coordinating a Mock Crash which involved collaboration with law enforcement and a life flight taking place on scene.
