Improving the readiness and availability of c.£35M worth of heavy plant equipment. • Provided intimate main-battletank-mounted engineering support to armoured units under training and evaluation for high-intensity warfare capability in Canada.• Delivered explosives training and training support in Kenya in support of medium intensity warfare validation training. • Delivered (as hand-picked leader) the Regiment’s annual training and evaluation programme to train and select 60 soldiers for promotion to Lance Corporal (Fire-team / Vehicle commander).Received the 2015 Commanding Officers' Prize for Military Excellence; recognised as one of the top junior Officers (less than 7 years service) in the Corps of Royal Engineers. Managed the CPD and assessment of the team, and the mindset to endure and win.• Professionalised the programme management of military construction and change projects to improve stakeholder communications and reduce missed timelines by 50% over six months.• Improved the self-discipline and wellbeing of over 400 people, including those considered vulnerable and supported those with serious court proceedings.• Initiated a mediation process to treat conflict between senior stakeholders, external contractors, and training delivery teams resulting in an agreed approach to apprenticeship validations.Successfully selected for promotion to the rank of Major. The Squadron Second-in-Command ensures smooth daily operations of the unit to maintain efficient training delivery; acting as both the lead Personnel Officer and Operations Officer requiring regular liaison with the multiple stakeholders who enable training. • Transformed the training delivery process, within the space of two weeks, in response to the COVID pandemic, across over 20 curriculum areas, to simultaneously manage the transition to hybrid training models (where practicable) and safely maintain face-to-face training where necessary.• Created (planned, executed and evaluated) a 6-month mentoring programme for 22 junior leaders, with an average of 98% agreeing or strongly agreeing that all the programme aims were achieved. Provided advice, guidance and challenge across a range of activities, including delivering elements of the Army D&I Campaign Plan, support to cultural transformation programmes, advising Board Members and Government ministers.• Established the Army’s first reverse mentoring programme for C-suite leaders by procuring contracts from industry leaders to deliver bespoke training and programme support.• Overhauled the Team’s Agile processes to reduce undelivered sprint tasks by 60% and ensure 80% of continual improvement activities were delivered on time within my first three months. • Delivered the Army’s first Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Champions and Advocates Network to re-vitalise D&I advocacy and form relations to address intersectionality.• Produced the communication products for external media and government ministers regarding Army Diversity, Inclusion and Behaviour issues.
