Acted as a liaison for the students and the residential life office. I provided students with information regarding campus life and the surrounding town, as well as campus resources for academics and sporting opportunities. My living on campus in the residence halls made me available 24/7. This allowed for me to offer assistance and answer questions whenever needed. As an RA I helped with the transitioning process and college life in general. Provided educational and social events for the residents to attend. These events were often to educate and bring out the students, they ranged from self defense classes to ice cream socials. These events got them to meet new people, acclimate themselves and get some knowledge in an often fun and interesting way.Provided security in the evenings when students entered and exited the buildings. Did security checks of the buildings nightly and worked directly with the campus police department. The overall position was to be there for the students regarding their residential life experience. Show less Provided assistance and data entry to Mark Schmidl Gagne who at the time was head of the Judicial proceedings at KSC. All the data entry was regarding the judicial processes at Keene State College. I would input the offenders information into the computer prior to their judicial hearing .Following the hearing I would enter the sanction that they received or did not receive. I also input the completion dates of these sanctions. I would collect information regarding the types of violations being most frequently offended and the sanctions that were placed upon students.
