Specifically involved with the Council Cabs project, a flat rate taxi service for the elderly. The role entailed interviewing users of the service to discover the service’s benefits. The project aimed to discover the social impact of the service in enabling people who would otherwise be immobile, to get out and socialise with people of a similar ages and life experiences. The stories were published on the Brisbane Stories website and as part of a paper on the project. The position involved liaising with the community, Shopping Centre Management, Yellow Cabs and other councils.
