  Prepare payrolls and statement of earnings for Central Administration and the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL). Provide timely, accurate and reliable financial information for processing of invoices, vouchers, financial reports and booking international travel for political appointees, AFL personnel and MoD staff; as well as incorporate cost considerations for decision makers. Contribute to the preparation of the Ministry of National Defense (MoD) budget and cash plan. Prepare paperwork required for procurement and ensures that materials purchased meets MoD requisition’s specifications. Maintain up to date price lists of regularly purchased materials. Carry out regular Vendor ethical checks and vendor vetting, including overseeing annual supplier rating, prequalification and registration. Raised and post all payment vouches in the tracking system and the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) of the government of Liberia through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP). Monitor Armed Forces of Liberia banking activities as it relates to Peace Support Mission and Pension accounts at the Central bank of Liberia and Ecobank Liberia Limited respectively.   Perform legal-, regulatory- and business-related research for the Director of Legal Affairs, Headquarters, Armed Forces of Liberia, Ministry of National Defense. Provide legal support services to Director of Legal Affairs. Assist MoD's lawyers in filing materials such as motions, memorandum, pleadings and briefs in various court systems, as well as accompany lawyers to see clients and/or to go to court. Interview clients either by phone or in person prior to referring them to MoD's lawyers and also edit pleadings, technical papers, briefs and other documents, helping review legal documents to make sure that relevant facts are included. Inform and assist Senior Management in monitoring efforts to achieve gender equality, keeping abreast of opportunities to improve the status of women at the Ministry of National Defense/Armed Forces of Liberia, enhance gender equality, and assist in relevant development of policies and programs; Encourage colleagues to apply gender specific mechanisms for gender mainstreaming, such as gender assessments, gender specific indicators, gender budgeting; Act as a catalyst at the Gender Security Task force and take steps to strengthen the capacity on gender environment of my colleagues, e.g. by organizing training sessions; Stimulate a further deepening of the knowledge base on gender aspects of the work of the Gender Task force; Network with external centers of expertise on gender and environment (including national & international agencies, NGOs, state security institutions and), relevant for the Task force; Work closely with the gender focal points from the various Security Institutions.
