  Main Tasks-Front end design of wells including abandonment design. Focus on abandonment design for wells which were deemed ready for full abandonment as per regulatory decommissioning and restoration requirements. Design and planning for these wells were carried out with an emphasis on economical savings while maintaining safety risks to a minimal as per subsurface requirements.-Project management on a variety of projects; ranging from process optimizations on existing workflows to initiating new projects which focused mainly on costs savings.Key Achievements-Delivered well technical specifications with an emphasis on optimized design and costs savings.-Technology enabler; implementation of new equipment and technologies so as to optimise the well abandonment design and operations with an eye on future development.-Spearheaded a waste management process project whose main driver was to re-cycle and re-use materials and equipment which would have been otherwise scrapped. These materials would then be re-furbished to be used back by relevant stakeholders and customers. This reduced the carbon footprint in terms of waste materials and provided significant savings in both economics and time.Offline rigless enablers – Worked on initiatives and technologies which focused an allowing operations to be done without a rig onsite. These were cost saving drivers as well technology trials which would provide a long term vision of future operations. First line onsite response and problem solving of non-planned operations.-Planning/Operations Engineer and Project Focal point for cross-border Deepwater wells drilled in the region.Key Achievements-Project manager and well engineering focal point for Utik, Rawali and Jagus East 2 projects. Succesfully delivered Jagus East 2 Deepwater well and met key objectives of the project.-Authored the ‘Operating Model’ document for aforementioned projects which would be used as a basis for future cross country/border activities with the lessons learned being incorporated accordingly.These projects were joint ventures between Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) and Shell Global Wells team (PTWIG based in Malaysia). Main tasks were to coordinate efforts between BSP, PTWIG and relevant business partners accordingly. Took the initiative to drive all related resources and internal departments towards final delivery of the well as part of the planning team. Managed and ensured that all preparations (logistical, materials, documentation, programs, HSE) were in place and supported operational activities when the project was underway.Main Tasks-Manage a team of contractors and personnel on the rigsite with the aim of meeting specific operational goals and criteria; whether the drivers be performance or safety based. -Well engineering planning; ensured that all preparations (logistical, materials, documentation, programs, technical, HSE) were in place prior to operations. -Well engineering operations; Supported operational activities when the drilling rig was in its execution phase.
