      As a unit director, I was in charge of all aspects of an entire age group on camp. I managed a total of eight staff members in helping them with all aspects of camp: Managing individual cabins, programing for entire units, aiding with troubled campers. I had to guide counselors on how to deal with campers with disabilities such as mild Autism, ADHD and Down syndrome. As the director of an age group I needed to balance both managerial functions, with my counseloring skills in order to ensure that my personal campers were also receiving the most positive experience they could.
