  I am currently growing Gloria's Cottage Craft which deals in medicinal herbal remedies and am currently studying to earn an International Diploma in Herbal Medicine. We also have a small nursery where we propagate herbs and indigenous plants. Cottage Craft also sell herbal remedies, oils, creams and tinctures as well as specialized cards, personalized packaging, home made kitchen herbs and spice mixes, jams and sauces.   Administration• I was tasked with preparing and updating spreadsheets with various scenarios drawing from past figures and what the company would look like with less staff. • As I was acting as the HR Head, where apart from the monthly salaries etc, I was tasked to complete an Annual Analysis of salaries, commissions etc. on the staff which will stay and those leaving or moving across with one of the outgoing divisions, doing various scenarios of GP Schedules;• I was tasked with doing a summary of Sales Reports in the past and a look at the future, as well as a Service Department Survey.• Completed the quarterly Foreign Exchange report as well as the Government Salaries Survey and Report. • Set up and managed the weekly cash flow reports and reported to the members of the CC.• Amongst various other admin and financial mattersPayroll• My position required that although I had trained in and used Pastel Payroll, the company used Sage VIP Payroll, I therefore did a full e-learning course which brought me up to date. • Here I also closed off the year end and submitted all the relevant Sars EMP documentation as well as all the reporting necessary. • I also did all the payroll retrenchment packages of staff that had chosen to leave or move with one of the lines breaking away from the Company, • Completed the Salary directives of staff leaving. • I was also tasked with the monthly Pension and Provident fund reporting and returns.
