  • I develop and execute IT Strategies in the Personnel, Admin, Finance Business Area (PAF BA); charting out the roadmaps of key enterprise IT initiatives and working with stakeholders to bring said initiatives into MINDEF/SAF. This ensures a steady flow of strategic IT initiatives to ensure the organisation’s continued success on the IT front. Key examples are:o Leading, developing and executing the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development Plan to harness AI technologies to deliver the two desired outcomes of  Providing seamless and enhanced service delivery. Raising staff productivity.Examples of key executions from the Plan were the AI Hackathon and Employee Virtual Assistant.o Leading and developing 5 PAF use cases in the Live Digital Testbed; a collaboration with Navy to achieve the following objectives of Providing a sandbox environment that accelerates innovation. Moving beyond the planning state by doing, learning and adapting. The Testbed could support development of new business models, trial commercial use cases, and tap into external vendors’ innovations, particularly in the realm of Internet-of-Things.• I pro-actively bridged and engaged internal users, IT vendors and consultants to energise stakeholders, plan for future business and cultivate innovative ideas. Key examples are:o Organised and coordinated the Gartner Symposium 2017 (Orlando, USA) Trip for senior management to learn key technology trends and exchange ideas with C-suite Gartner executives, and arranged for visits with 6 cutting-edge technology companies in Seattle.o Led and organised the MINDEF/SAF IT Roadshow in the respective Services and MINDEF innovation events to create more awareness on our 5 key enterprise IT initiatives. This was 5 events (with approximately 300 attendees each) and saved 60 man-hours and $40,000. Show less

  • Defined and conceptualised the product vision of LifeSG as the Whole-of-Government platform for delivery of citizen-centric services, and also charted out the product strategy and roadmap with clear deliverables and desired outcomes• Worked closely with GovTech in-house engineering and UX teams to launch LifeSG and launch of new features including Explore Services module (with MVP of 40 services) on Aug 20• Led the continuous development of the product of Product Backlog for LifeSG; with the planned delivery of common modules to enable Government agencies to develop bespoke services on the platform• Currently engaging and working closely with around 20 Government agencies in co-leading 10 user journeys; specifically to string up cross-agency services to be built and developed on LifeSG.
