      In this research work, the evaluation and optimization of trunnion design for the long-term durability of the hip joint prosthesis are investigated. Numerical investigations used for benchmarking of patient-specific static structural analysis of femur bone with different lengths are also studied. Effect of the length of the femur bone on weight carrying capacity are also studied. A comparative study of femur bone having different boundary conditions and bone structure is studied. A standard method to apply boundary conditions is established using the available literature. Four basic stems are designed with three different profiles for each design. Totally twelve models were designed. Wear is estimated at the taper trunnion junction for the proposed new hip implants using Archard’s wear law under normal walking conditions.       Working on a research initiative to develop new evidence-based biomarkers to identify persons with spinal cord injury (SCI) at higher risk of long-bone and/or calcaneus fractures when participating in rehabilitation activities, such as exoskeleton-assisted walking (EAW).Determine biomarkers of bone health in persons with SCI from subject-specific FE models from a wide range of bone densities at the hip, knee, and calcaneus.
