      Part of Mitel’s first-ever Computer-Aided Design team. Developed and supported numerous CAD applications and interfaces, with particular focus on data interchange with SQL data repositories and manufacturing machines. Led implementation of $4M modernization program with networked workstations and enterprise CAD software. Managed 30+ PCB design group as they transitioned from manual to CAD design practices. Joined Enterprise Division, providing project management to development and launch of Mitel’s first voice messaging system. Eventually was named product manager for a range of application products, engaging regional marketing managers and working with R&D team provide meaningful product definitions and release schedules. As part of a large corporate strategy, led the negotiation team for the Business Process Outsourcing deal to PriceWaterhouseCoopers, the largest training BPO deal in the world. Eighteen months after founding, the company was busy, but hadn’t shipping product. Mr. Grant was brought in to prioritize development requirements and show quick improvement on cashflow. He identified operational bottlenecks, weak strategies, and ineffective personnel. Worked with CEO and Chairman to restaff and refocus the team. Product was shipping and customer obligations were closing within weeks. This company continued to grow and prosper, and was acquired in 2017. Show less
