Performed heavy overhaul maintenance and modification. Removed and replaced mechanical and structural components. Removed and replaced and troubleshot flight controls, panels, rigging, engine changes, and life and fire systems, i.e. explosives, hydraulic, LOX, fuel/defuel, and pneumatic. Setup and used common tools - pneumatic, powered and non powered equipment, torque and hand tools. Used Lean Manufacturing and Quality principles. Performed operational inspections on aircraft using precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, ball gauges, depth gauges, etc. Inspected the aircraft for discrepancies such as improper hardware and aircraft parts. Was responsible to inspect the aircraft for discrepancies such as cracks, dents, primer, paint, corrosion, etc. Reponsible to ensure all aircraft components removed from aircraft were inspected to ensure proper accountability and documentation of noted discrepancies. Discrepancies were recorded per procedures, and discrepancies repaired or replaced per Tech Data, Drawings, Non-Conformance directions. Inspection stamp held for eight years. Ordered parts, stock, tools, material, and equipment necessary to perform duties. Read, interpreted and used shop math, schematics, drawings, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, and best shop practices to perform and document work. Communicated with various operational and support disciplines. Used Lean Manufacturing and Quality principles and was progressively active in Lean Activities, not inclusive of 3P, Employee Involvement, 5S. Maintained and assisted others with 5S and lean procedures. Show less Lead operations representative for three aircraft. Respomnsible for all support and technical requests, to include follow up and accuracy for each issue. Utilized quick and decisive interaction and coordination with all support groups (QA, Engineering, Supply Chain, sub-contractors, 3PLs, Management, Planning, I.T., Facilities, Security, Safety, Tooling, Operations Central Command, Leadership, Customers, Industrial Engineering, Liaisons, inter-Program and intra-Programs, etc.). Job duties were to facilitate and resolve any procurement requirements to prevent or mitigate work stoppage. Maintained and assisted others with 5S and lean procedures. Show less

      Material Management Analyst

Applied knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations and standard best practices to deliver informational or technical materials to personnel. Collected, organized, synthesized, and analyzed data; summarized the findings and developed conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources. Made the most appropriate decisions, and ensured the buy-in and understanding of the resulting decisions. Monitored and tracked execution of project plans and communicated status to all participants. Complete knowledge of inventory requirements planning, (e.g. Lot sizes, Work In Process, Inventory Burndown, etc.), management and control, Just In Time, Kitting, Point of Use, inventory turn rate and procurement processes. Solved manufacturing problems with tool applications, used a computing inventory management system, and experience with portable tool and tool applications. Supported manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tool, and shop supplies. Assisted with investigating changes in manufacturing requirements and supporting emergent requests. Assessed requirements, verified customer requests, gathered manufacturing and product information, coordinated with support organizations. Analyzed and oversaw procurement processes for products and services. Explored all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules. Reviewed on-hand inventory, performed inventory and coordinated redistribution of materials. Identified potential conditions that could contribute to gaps or key variances, analyzed the relationship between the conditions and effects. Distinguished causes from symptoms and identified the primary causes. Generated ideas for solutions, analyzed the effect or impact of each solution, and then selected the appropriate solution. Tested solutions, gathered feedback on the effectiveness, reviewed the impact on baseline measures, and modified solutions as appropriate to ensure effectiveness. Show less

      Field material coordinator

I provided customer service to our mechanics, in a timely fashion, accurately, with a great attitude. I was the inventory lead in charge of inventory counts, their accuracies, and MRP. Ordered parts from third party vendors, scheduled deliveries of parts with these vendors, shipped parts and orders, received inventories, and organized the work area using the 5S and lean principles in order to provide a quality process. I offloaded delivery vehicles, verified products and their quantities, processed the purchase orders, identified part numbers and locations, and placed them in their correct locations. Created purchase orders, made changes to POs, and monitored their status for timely deliveries. I was responsible for 1.5 million dollars worth of product, the accuracy in inventory, issuing of the products, and receiving of all products. Provide 14 crews with their orders, accurately, and timely. Used either sit down or stand up forklifts to fill orders or put away merchandise. Show less
