The course covers various quantum computing topics, including quantum gates, qubits, entanglement, superposition, and advanced quantum algorithms such as Grover's search and Shor's algorithm.The program emphasizes practical learning through hands-on experience with IBM Qiskit, allowing me to simulate and experiment on quantum systems. I am also gaining experience in quantum error correction techniques and exploring emerging quantum technologies. Collaborative projects with peers from diverse academic and professional backgrounds enrich my problem-solving abilities and equip me to tackle complex challenges in quantum computing.   As part of the DEPI second-round cohort, offered as a fully-funded scholarship by the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, I am undertaking a six-month Data Science and AI track course designed by IBM to be applied as an essential tool in my research field. The program encompasses 180 hours of training, including:Technical Skills: Prompt engineering, data science methodologies, Python, SQL, machine learning, and MLOps tools (MLflow, Hugging Face).Hybrid Learning: 75% online and 25% in-person, with mandatory physical and remote attendance.Capstone & Projects: Engaging in hands-on projects and freelancing tasks.This internship will empower me with data-driven decision-making skills, utilizing tools and experience learned from the AI and Data Science track that would be more and more beneficial as crucial tools in current research projects.
