Having been promoted from a PA role a Lloyd’s of London market association which represents all syndicates transacting motor and personal lines business within the Lloyd’s market. Reporting into the RD with responsibility for Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North Essex as the local face of an international business I have: -• Used my relationship building skills to transform an under-achieving District Society into one which is now passionate and energetic and seen as a trailblazer within ICAEW centrally. I achieved this by seeking new volunteers and demonstrating creativity and leadership to do new things which had not been tried before.• Increased engagement across East Anglia by developing new connected communities across specific key demographics and interests in the area. Understanding and acknowledging their needs, developing content and marketing appropriately. • Project managed all the events and activities with multiple deadlines across East Anglia. This involves marketing and using social media for promotion and ensuring events and activities are completed on time and within budget.• Identified key strategic partners to improve the quality and reach of activity across the region such as other membership bodies, local enterprise partnerships, growth hubs and chambers. Using my business development skills to highlight ICAEW’s presence locally through high profile business events, forging links with external stakeholders and businesses to increase the influence of ICAEW in the area.• Pivoted a face to face events business to a successful virtual offering during the pandemic using a range of different platforms. Organising, chairing, recording and sharing this programme resulting in engagement with members who had never attended an ICAEW event previously. • Developed a re-engagement plan for over 1,000 members in the Channel Islands.
