  Brief background and work history

  ▪ Currently self-employed managing and investing in real estate rehab projects. Now looking for opportunities in Business Intelligence, Data Science or Analyst roles.▪ In addition to my background in business, management and information technology, I've also continued learning with recent coursework in Microsoft Power BI, R, Python, .NET, SSRS, SSIS, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, JSON, CSS3, MySQL and Android development. Additionally, I have experience with SQL and relational databases spanning back more than 2 decades.▪ With over 20-years corporate experience, my background of job titles includes business analyst, systems analyst, programmer analyst, software developer, retail sales, and retail manager. Corporations have included Home Shopping Network (HSN), Transitions Optical, Ideal Software, and Radio Shack. ▪ My software development background includes MVC.NET, COBOL, FoxPro, FORTRAN, BASIC, Delphi/PASCAL, EDI X12, GPSS (discrete simulation), and ETL methods. And of course I'm also experienced with the standard suite of Microsoft and Google office products.▪ Currently I have a particular interest in the Business Intelligence and Data Science fields and believe my business background, IT experience and analytical mindset are well suited for those specialties.▪ My MBA focused on Information Systems, International Business and Quality initiatives.▪ My Bachelor's degree was a double major with Information Systems/Decision Sciences and Finance.I'm ready, willing and able to make a difference in your organization.
