  Organization: Madhya Pradesh PoliceOur team developed a cross-platform solution that addressed all the needs of Madhya Pradesh Police. The solution involved two ways of reporting crimes; one from police's end, and the other from public's end. For public crime reporting, I developed an android application using kotlin as the primary language and Google Maps API in order to mark potential hotspots areas of crime. Our team also developed ML algorithms which generated data that predicted crimes and the kind of action that could be taken by the police in future to prevent the same. We exposed the generated data using an API and I further integrated the API with the android application, so that the general public can be aware beforehand regarding the area they are travelling to, that is, whether it's safe for them or not and what kind of safety measures they can take when travelling to that particular area. I further revamped the police app by providing new features like Nearby Police Station, Single Woman help, Crime Reporting, Statistics of a particular area and Missing Person Report etc. Show less
